i stayed there quite a lot during the '90s. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, and many rooms have a lovely view over the rail yard, which was normally pretty full with an interesting variety of freight trains. I still have a coffee mug with their logo on it. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

I never noticed how much different the Williams Girls train is from the Lionel.  Above is my 1991 reproduction from Lionel, along with the 2002 Lionel Boy's Train.  Both are the same 2-6-4 with different tenders. 

the lionel version does look completley different! i have to admit though, i am very impressed with the Williams version. very smooth runner, nice sound. my wife loves it. good to have her apart of the hobby with me
