Normally this time of year I post the Halloween Layout photos from the museum. Because of Covid the trains on the Kids level on the museum layout are turned off. No Halloween layout for the kids this year. So here are some previous years pictures.

Some great layouts and photos you have been posting folks, looks great some nicely detailed layouts thanks for posting each week. It keeps us inspired and going with fresh ideas between the O gauge train magazines in the mail.

I finished scratch building my blue BC Hydro caboose last weekend. Here is the photo of the sides I have cut out from styrene sheets and strips glued together. Then I built a jig to cut the vertical blind curved material for the roof. I had to cut it at an angle to get a curve to match the angled cupola. Along with the Resin kit I built for the yellow BC Hydro caboose and old Lionel SW 900 engine I repainted for BC Hydro, and gutted to make it a dummy. Out for a run on my garden railway. The MP15 and most of the cars were special runs for the Canadian Toy Train Association of BC Electric which later became BC Hydro Railway a local short line. https://www.canadiantoytrains.org/canada-club-cars/

I have something different this week. Both my son and I like photography. By sheer chance, we both had calendar photos published for the month of October. Steven's is a prototype picture taken on the North Shore Railroad in the calendar they issue annually and is to the left. Mine is a photo of my layout and it can be seen on the right. It appears in the NMRA's annual calendar. Bigger images of the individual calendar photos follow. This was pure coincidence, and I did not even think about it until yesterday when I flipped the calendars to October.
