It's time for Weekend Photo Fun.
After the Lionel Warehouse Sale last week I took these pictures at the Lionel Store at Concord Mills.
I worked on the tunnel portals at the club last week.
Let's see your pictures.

A 2017 Christmas Layout memory.
I know these images aren't much to look at. But after I sold my collection a few years back and bought 2 new MTH/Lionel tin-plate trains I've been trying little by little to find affordable, for me, tin-plate accessories or anything else that is tin-plate that 1) I want to spend the money on, and 2) would fit into my existing themes on my annual layouts.

Beginning stages for 2018 Christmas Layout memories!
This is the way my living room looked during the first day of construction of the 11'x14' layout area. Actually it was a significant start.
Got all of the Homasote carried up from storage to the living room. That stuff when painted is HEAVY!
Got all of the needed "step 1 parts" boxes out of storage and into the living room. You know, wires, tracks, electrical hookup components, etc
Laid down 2 feeder lines.
I DESPISE wiring and it's always the first step for me because it's a floor layout. I lay down blue insulation board first and put the Homasote on top of that. I then leave gaps in the blueboards to run the wires thru so that they are hidden and not bearing the weight of the layout. Kind of a shame that I HATE wires so much cause the start of building should be a fun and exciting first step, but it's dread for me! Kinda like eating my peas first and saving the good stuff for later

A grazing cow hardly takes notice as NS ET44AC 3630 grinds up Christiansburg grade with a coal drag.

A bit more progress towards the goal of creating 2018 Christmas Layout memories
I have wiring laid down for switches and track power. Based on my drawings I can project fairly well where on the layout things will be. I leave a little slack in the wiring to allow for small adjustments. Drawing follows for the heck of showing it.

The last of my York layout pics.......Orange Hall vestibule.....
I took a few "close ups" here because I think the modeling technique and the execution was quite good...
A big "thank you" to those who brought this layout to York for our enjoyment..... we really appreciate your efforts!

Guys....this is not a truck forum....so if you want to post pictures about prototype tractor trailer rigs, do so on another forum.....Let us keep the focus of our forum about trains and layouts. The truck posts were nice but not appropriate here.....
