Chris,

I really enjoy your shots of the former Middle Division of the "Standard Railroad of the World!"

Thanks Neal.  It's my favorite stretch of railroad to photograph.  It's the line I grew up, so I try to get back any chance I get & get pics    I post most of pictures to my FB photo site if you want to check out more of the middle division - https://www.facebook.com/EasternRailsPhotography

After much back & forth, I really wasn't feeling this current setup, so I pulled it down during the week. Decided that the postwar display layout worked best for the space & it really had 'something' that made it special, so in a twist of irony, I am using my own CTT article to rebuild it pretty much exactly how it was. This should be fun - never had to compete w/ myself, lol. I must say, my wife was very understanding. This gives me a chance to correct some issues I had w/ the original one Live & learn

My goal - get back to this -

Chris,

Every week I look forward to seeing your layout. Love it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Howard, That was probably the BEST video I have ever seen on this site.

Thanks for posting.

I am wondering how far that train traveled before the engineer could see out the window.  It looked like the snow was 5-6 inches deep on the window going through the grade crossing.  Need some heavy duty defrosters to melt that off.  Glad to see your camera servived.

So Chris, where did you grow up.  My son enjoys your photos too, and is a regular poster of NS railfanning videos.  I'll put him in touch with you.

Every year, weather permitting, a few of the guys from the PIHR take a day trip to the first Great Scale Model Train Show of the year in Timonium, MD.  It is a long trip from Pittsburgh, biut it is always a lot of fun, and we get to see vendors and layouts that we don't get to see locally or at York.  Here are some of the photos I took (I know that they aren't O, but then nobody is perfect ):
