A Bad Day for the Missouri Pacific on the joint Frisco-MoPac White River Division: MK-63 #1310 deadheads past Notch Junction in charge of newly shopped caboose #922. A pair of close-up shots as the caboose rolls by:
The light move was necessitated by a need for an engine to make up the schedule of a timecard manifest whose power had suffered an air pump failure just the other side of Hollister and had to limp to Little Rock without tonnage.
Here's a shot taken with a telephoto lens from atop a nearby bald knob as the movement crosses over North Beaver Creek in front of the Silver Dollar Line's wooden trestle.
{The caboose is a K-Line NYC that I disassembled and repainted and lettered for the MoPac.}

I see you have done a wood side caboose and it looks great! It must be hard to get the decals to lay down with the uneven surface of the wood sides!
Does any one know the correct colors for a MOPAC extended vision steel sided caboose? I don't think it is a bright red, but not as dark as a Maroon.
Thanks

Nice, there are two photo funs this week. 2.9.18 and 3.9.18 Cool.
I thought to myself, I may have to dial back on the meds.
