Was running an older MTH RK RS1 in NH colors. These are really nice scale-sized engines. Was operating in conventional and holding te camera while moving the handle on teh Z4000 so please excuse the jerky takeoff. The startup sounds (and shut down too - 2nd clip) are terrific. Listen up...

Our local high rail group dolled up our Prescott (AZ) mall display for the mall's Halloween festivities this afternoon.  And we spend three hours entertaining and being entertained by what must have been hundreds of delightfully costumed youngsters (and parents)

Here is one of my two display layouts all dolled up for Halloween.

Peter - Great pictures, but it would be so much more interesting if we had some idea who the people are?  Can you name any of them?

What was the reaction at Church. It appears that everyone was enjoying the trains. Were they surprised you brought them? Was there anyone that wanted to get started in the Hobby after seeing the gorgeous tinplate?

There's no surprise. I have been running trains at church for several years now. I usually run at Halloween, Vacation Bible School and at Christmas.

very nice! I've done a PRR Merch car, and a Nickel plate Tender like that. A State of Maine is one I'd like to do as well. Love to see more your your stuff!

Steamer (Dave) The PRR Merc is on my list of future Marx cars. Would enjoy seeing pics of your Marx too. I was always interested in PW Lionel and AMT/Kusan/KMT. Never paid much attention to Marx. Being from Indiana originally always liked the MONON and wanted to get a Marx Monon diesel. Once I got the Monon diesel, caboose, and a few freight cars, I was addicted to the Marx. Still like the PW Lionel like stuff, (Williams copies too), but the Marx tin stuff is great fun. Thanks again for asking and hopefully I can get this picture thingy to work again.

Dave, that Nickel Plate tender looks great with your triple 6. The Penn Merc looks good with the scale trucks. Looks like 2 more Marx I will have to keep an eye out for. I also see  you have one of the nice PW Lionel Milk cars. I have the one with the brown doors, can't think of the number now, but I have had it since my youth and it shoots those milk cans everywhere...great fun.
