"My new 3Rd Rail C&O Hudson with its custom built passenger train."

Streamline and Heavyweight cars, really nice mix on the passenger cars.  Did you do the custom painting?

FrankRazz

I've always wanted a prototypical, scale C&O passenger train. Since no manufacturer has ever produced these cars I've spent many years building the train.

RPO- stock Atlas

Express cars- modified Lionel baggage cars

Diner - repainted and detailed GGD

Lightweight cars - Old American Lightweight Car Company kits with scratch built interiors. The two cars with skirts have Union Station Products car sides.

I did the painting.

Ken

First run on the newly expanded club garden railway. Had just finished laying a loop of G scale narrow gauge track which is O scale width so as the sun was setting got a Weaver scale Hudson Empress Canadian Pacific engine and some CP Golden Gate passenger cars out for a test lap.

Fine details on the project and club and bridge here;

While the PRR's Torpedo was their most famous streamlined engine, the Pennsy did have four other K4s streamlined (well, actually five but that is another story).  The streamlining on these four engines, added in 1940 and 1941, was simpler then that of the Torpedo and left areas that needed high maintenance accessible. These engines pulled The South Wind and The Jeffersonian.  They were also seen on The Broadway Limited, Liberty Limited, and The Trail Blazer.  The streamline shrouding was removed sometime after 1950. Here is an older video of my Williams streamlined K4.

Ken, is there a thread on this wonderful project?  If so, please provide a link.  If not, it'd be a terrific one.

In any case, please post some still photos.

Congratulations on achieving your goal.
