Well for today, I have something a little different!
Usually my staging yard is packed with eight trains, but I had to do a repair on a structure behind the curved portion of the yard so I had to empty it out. Here’s what my yard looks like without any trains in it:
And here’s all the trains from the yard temporarily parked out on the main line:
Now here is a look at the small warehouse district behind the curved section of the yard Although you can normally see the tops of the buildings, the trains obscure the detail near ground level:
And finally here is the first train pulling back into the yard after the work was done!
That’s it for this week! Enjoy!

Thank you, Scott, for starting us off this weekend!
Today, I'll start with a few pictures from the National Capitol Trackers display at the Armed Forces Retirement Home this past weekend.......this was a REAL TREAT!
Here's Craignor putting the final touches to his modules.....
Lots of great trains were run......but the most fun was talking to the the veterans, both men and women who served our country!
Have a great and safe weekend, folks!

I took this video of an Amtrak Acela running northbound under the catenary at Milford, Connecticut on Thursday, March 14, 2024. The train is going about 60 miles-per-hour and will stop at New Haven in ten minutes. Bound for Boston.

Very good pictures and videos. Peter that is your military train correct? Whose black bonett set? Thanks
Thanks Scott for getting started for this fine weekend! Here are my photo of the fun kind! " Random pics from around Patsburg." Have a terrific weekend everyone!!!
The unloading crew has been busy this morning with two boxcars down and two to go.
Caboose, cabin car, hack, crummy, van ... whatever you call them .. they are seen here.
Work work work that's all these guys ever seem to do. TGIF!!!
The Motley Crew, as they are nick named by many folks here in town, has just parked their trash truck for the weekend. It's Friday, just after quitting time, City Sanitation Suervisor Ray Johns has just distributed pay checks to the sanitation crew. Bewilderedly, he scratches his chin and thinks to himself ... "What am I going to do with this motley crew?" Quickly he comes up with an answer to his own question " I know. I think I'll join them for just one cold brew. Just one!"
These fellers are always gitner done!
A peek through the bushes reveals a B&O Docksider working the yard.

Dave, when you look at the last video, there are two military trains. The one on the bottom, heading to the right, is Craignor's, pulled by a Premier Pennsy Mountain. The one on top, heading to the left, is mine, pulled by a Pennsy RailKing Decapod.
