Random shots around the layout; a lot of new scenery has been added by Tom & George.  A RK RDG SW1500, and Dick's Premier Decapod are in the first few pictures. The sharp eyed will note 2 Lionel sets, PRR FARR 5, and Feather River, are highlighted in several pix, w/ MTH lokes & cabooses replacing Lionel's original items.  The FARR train has 2 Rugged Rails PRR 3-bay Hoppers mixed in.  We're still looking for new members, so please get in touch for a visit, if in the tri-state area.

I like the the Cat-in-the-Hat--had many of his books when I was a child.  I'll take Dr. Seuss over any children's books written today.  Why is the Cat standing in front of the church? Is there a spiritual connection?  Originally Posted by walt rapp:

I always wondered if you would ever have the nerve to put that Cat-In-The-Hat figure somewhere on your beautifully done layout!  Thanks for finding a place - at least for one picture!

On the girder benchwork I have risers holding up 5/8" A-C plywood with 1/2" Homaboard 440 glued on top of it.  Then I paint it with recycled grey laytex paint.  The Gargraves is screwed into the Homasote but not the plywood, which makes it fairly quiet.
