My photos and video for the weekend of April 26, 2024 show two 1950s era Boston & Maine locomotives crossing one of the truss bridges on my 12’-by-8’ layout. I built the bridges from kits by Miami Valley Products when construction began on the layout in 1999.
Boston & Maine GP7 #1563 is an MTH Premier model (20-2211-1) with PS1 delivered in December 1999 at an MSRP of $299.95. Boston & Maine F2 #4257 is an Atlas O model (1606-2) with TMCC delivered in December 2006 at MSRP $479.95.

A 2023 Christmas Layout memory
Some more of the right side of the layout. My nephew made these 2 billboards for me. The one with writing he gifted to me 15 years ago and the one of the picture (family members at my annual "Train Party") of people he gifted to me just this year.

A few different photos this week. First, a new favorite of mine. This Atlas Premier SD70 M-2 in the Grand Trunk heritage paint scheme.
Next, a few layout projects I'm working on. Finally getting around to fascia.
Working on this bridge/tunnel scene where train pass under the upper level.
And finally, my York haul. This Hapag-Lloyd heritage ES44 is now one of my favorites.

Thanks Scott for getting us going for this fine weekend! Here are some scenes as viewed from the Patsburg Ave. grade crossing.
Ma & Pa Doodlebug brings morning commuters into town.
B&O P 27 Pacific " The President Harrison" is slowing for a station stop a half mile ahead.
The "President Harrison" stopped at station. This was my biggest York purchase last week!
Picked up a 8660 CP Rail NW2 this week

Thank you Jim!
The photographer chased this double-headed freight for a few miles. While an M1 and I1 together is not uncommon, this was the first time he was able to get movies. This is his first time using 16mm Kodachrome film with sound and he was quite happy with the results.

Ron,
Great video. I was wanting to see more of the freight cars behind those huge locomotives.

Trainbros, That's an awesome scene of the train running through the industrial area. I could watch videos of that type of running all day.
I love bridges, and here's a shot of lift bridges in action.
Took the autotrain from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL last week. Visiting family in the Keys. Took the train southbound, drove back. Had two adjoining sleeper rooms, definitely helped with space. All-in-all a very nice experience and would consider doing it again.
This is such a handsome locomotive Patrick - how do you like it? I almost traded something for one awhile back but it didn't work out. Picked up the Erie Pacific from the same catalog and am very pleased with it but would still like to add one of these sometime. This is the Lionel ERIE Pacific that a friend (D500) performed modifications on creating a 'previously undiscovered' SR 'Hudson'
