Its a beautiful morning here in the western NC mountains and the new arrival pulled in last evening - our first Legacy steamer!
As much as we anguished over liquidating our K-Line Hudson, the proceeds enabled the purchase of this handsome LIONEL PRR K4.
It will bring the A.T.& S.F. into the 'modern era' in electronics and sounds.
Scott - Your low level shots over the water look really great, especially the light reflections!
Mike.....that's an old IHC engine house kit......I believe Altas O markets it now.

My current project is re-lettering stack cars and repainting containers. The containers will be lettered for my road and for O gauge manufactures.
I also needed to adjust clearances for the Husky stack cars to run on my layout.
After modifying the base of the pedestrian stairs, I had just enough room to allow the cars with containers to pass beneath...

Taking a spin around the layout this morning in observance of Natl. Train Day enjoying the comfort of B&O Observation 'MERCURY'. The new PRR No 1361 provides the motive power to our excursion and performs quite nicely.
Oh waiter - We'd like a tall gin & tonic and a sweet tea for the lady.
