My photos of the fun kind for this weekend are entitled: Power on the Mainline. This week the company photographer photographed these locomotives as they cruised the Free State Junction Railway Mainline through Patsburg.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!!

A 2012 Christmas Layout memory
I realize I show this image each year starting in 2015 but it's just so special to me I keep showing it. It was a gift from my sister in 2014. She unexpectedly died 3 months later. So for me it's a very sentimental part of my Christmas layouts each year. It's metal and while I don't have a picture from my 2021 layout showing it, the train lights up.

I am really enjoying the K-Line Boston and Albany 4-6-6T I bought new at York. Today, I tried it as a freight train on my lower inside loop which has several switches and crossovers and it ran great, and it pulled a pretty long freight train with ease. This was a good addition to the herd.

Train Loft's custom run of Atlas Premier Gunderson High-Cubes in a special NS 40th Anniversary merger set. More pix over in the long running "Southern RR Fans - Photos" thread.
This Canadian National SD40-2W diesel-electric locomotive stopped in front of the corn bins at H&H feed after picking up an empty ACF CENTER FLOW covered hopper from the IMERYS HARBORLITE perlite processing plant spur track, located West of Vicksburg, Michigan.

Sirt nice to see a blend of vehicles of different scales, that look good together, on such a meticulously detailed layout.
Johan I like the way the railroad bricked up the arches to keep the hobos out.

Not with that Statie on guard! Unless of course he gets one too.
With temps in the '70's today, the locals will be takin' a dip and and the fishing guys will hope to snag a bass, while enjoying the beautiful weather...
