I finished the major construction of my layout expansion this week. Still details to do but the major construction, for now, is done.
Garrett Park Maryland station. Ex. B&O Metropolitan Sub from Washington DC to Brunswick.
Looking East towards Washington.
Looking west. That is a MARC commuter run heading west to Brunswick in the distance.
A few from the 765 Horseshoe Curve trip.
The NS F units were outside in Altoona.
The RRMM's GG1 is now undercover.
765 arriving in Lewistown Monday AM.
Summer has arrived & so has the beer.
C&O Paw Paw tunnel.
Very enjoyable photos, everyone. Thank you all for posting. This weekly thread is one of my favorite features on the Forum.
Scott Smith, your personal record has been awarded ten merits for taking on, and fulfilling, the responsibility for this weekly topic, and for consistently beginning each week's thread with photos of your own.
John Sethian, your personal records have respectively been awarded ten merits for exquisite weathering.
I really wish I could have made it out to the curve to see the 765 on it but work and life prevented me from doing so.
It was my sons 3rd birthday this past tuesday and we got him a train table. You should have seen the excitement on his face! There is no longer any other toys, he plays with it constantly!
Lucia having some train time on the temp 'layout'
This set will be coming out of the boxes and running this weekend. First pic is not mine, just wanted to remember how good these F3's look.
I've really enjoyed seeing all the #765 pics the last week or so. I sure hope they can bring her out to Kansas City someday. Anyway, since I couldn't chase my favorite locomotive I thought I'd show some pics from my layout of my favorite layout:
Berkshire #763
Sjc - I like that extension!

The Port Authority used good judgment in placing an order for more cabs because at the new train station complex, 4 trains arrived at the same time.
Ex passenger TH&B geeps heading a freight on its way to Buffalo
Looks like the conductor went to a Nascar race again. He's never satisfied with the railroad's meager superelevation on fast lines. Always has to add some of his own...
...or the rivets holding the trucks are loose.

We added a new locomotive to the stable, and my grandson had to check it out on a test run, and up close inspection.
Here is a better picture of my mth premier C&O center flow 100 ton 4 bay hopper and lionel sign my mom got me.
While at York in April, I came across a dealer selling flat cars minus their truck trailers or diecast vehicles. Perfect mounting my own diecasts to add to my local Baltimore flavor train. Locate some scale chain for tie downs and they're ready to go.
NKP4me, love the custom pbrick stonework on the MTH warehouse! The had to take patience!
SIRT, "When you say Budweiser, You've said it all!"
What a great load, now you can add a Manufacturers box car to go with it.
