Winter trees are on clearance at Micheals

A little bit of spray paint and they are ready for a different season.

Their snow covered hardwood trees can be converted as well. Touch up the snow on the tree bark with brown paint and you have blooming dogwoods.

Years ago I purchased a Wabash MTH/AF Piper locomotive from Jim's Train shop. The locomotive had passenger sounds however MTH never made any passenger cars for it. So last year I bought some unpainted tinplate cars from the MTH auction.

I have all three cars painted but I have only got one of them reassembled this past week.

The G&O garden railroad was open to the public for the first time in two years.  The crew is still in the process of rebuilding the O gauge line on the main display.  Only the G gauge line and children's display were running.  Here are a few photos from the show.  Happy Holidays to Everyone on the Forum.  NH Joe

The above photo is of a 1991 K-Line Santa Express train set that someone donated to the club.  I was surprised that it ran all day.  K-Line made great trains.

I travelled to New Orleans this week to be with my two sons for Christmas. Am staying with George, an old friend who still operates 'Uncle Sam's Trains' Lionel Service Station #224 from my hobby shop days. He does an amazing job of repair and restoration and has this 1921 Standard gauge set running under the tree this year. No. 42 - 100 years old, Twin Motors, and it runs quiet and smooth as silk!

Here is a video of my 64 x 14 foot Christmas Village Toy Train layout with 12 trains running at the North Pole Express event at the Railway Museum of British Columbia it ran for 4 weekends. 2 LionChief Bluetooth trains were available with instructions on the fence for folks to download the LionChief app and connect and run the trains.
