We were officially open for looky-loos the evenings of 12/22 and 12/23, had a pretty good turnout. Then just for giggles we had an unplanned opening on New Years Eve, not very many but we were able to watch some fireworks going on around town. Last night 1/2/21 we were open for a short while at a special request and there may be one more showing for a family with special needs kids, but it will have to be early in the week as Wednesday is my oncology day.

Extra SP 6148 West struggles up the challenging grades of the Sierra Nevada mountains with a 10,000 ton manifest in tow. The crew is a little puzzled at encountering a pristine 5-stripe GG-1 waiting in the hole at Norden, but it's all part of the fun.
