Of all places this was at the AACA. American Automobile Collectors Association in Hershey PA. Fantastic auto museum, it was my first time there. They had various train displays up for the Holidays and Sunday was the last day. Throughout the museum they had little grinch stuffed animal/dolls and max (the grinch's dog) stuffed dolls. If the kids did a scavenger hunt to see how many they could find they got each got one of those candy canes full of M&M's. There was a Polar Express display and several G-gauge trains throughout the lower floor.
What I didn't realize is that they also have on complete room with a great train display, super kid friendly with lots of buttons to push and tons of action. No standard gauge running but three large display cases and a few smaller ones. The standard gauge stuff was all in the larger, floor model type cases. There was also some marx in a wall mounted case. With watching the kids I didn't have a ton of time to get really good photos through the glass.
Very friendly staff. Lots of fun auto's and buses. A special exhibit on the Tucker. (3 out of the 51 made on site!) I highly recommend a stop - and not that far from York!
Here's a couple other photos from the day .
