I bought a new toy at auction. It's my second MTH engine, and my first with ANY sort of protosounds system in it. I googled this engine for information when I saw it on the auction list, but could only find the catalog it came in (from 06). Well, I thought it said protosounds 1, but when I got to the auction, it's box listed it as protosounds 2 (I misread the catalog). Score for me I think. I got what I consider a good deal on an engine which I am sure is still brand new (listed as MIB, wheels and trim were still packed in foam, and the rollers show no wear). I have no idea what it's worth, but I'm happy with it (though the whole "charging" thing has me nervous).30-1402-1 MTH LNE Camelback

I also got a great deal on 4 sets of O-22 switches, but I will not bore you with pictures of those

Go to www.jandwelectronics.com. Send Wayne Renga the MTH number on the box. He will tell you which BCR you need and send it to you.

I have had a few people suggest this to me, and I am going to see about picking one up at York. It should take the BCR2, as it is a 2.4v

Joe

We have a store called "Tractor Supply Co" or TSC.  They have a lot of farm related toys for the farmer's kids.  This was there for only $3.99.  Now, it isn't quite scale, but on a flatcar it looks pretty good!  I also picked up two International Tractors for $3.99 each too!
