Hi all,

I'd like to invite you all to the 31st DCS User Group Meeting at the TCA York Meet.  We will be meeting Wednesday, October 16th, at Eagle's Nest restaurant.  We'll have a presentation on the new WTIU!  Yes, they're actually coming!  This will be your first opportunity to see and handle the new hardware.

If you have any DCS hardware that needs a firmware upgrade (TIU, Remote, WIU, DCS Commander), free upgrades will be available before dinner.

As before, you do NOT have to buy dinner to attend, but I need to give the restaurant a rough headcount of how many will be dining.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO ATTEND

Reply to this thread with your name and anyone else who will be attending with you.

Indicate in your reply if you will be dining at Eagle's Nest.

5 to 6 PM - Free firmware upgrades for Remotes, TIU's and WIU's

7 to 7:45 PM - Presentation on DCS and the new WTIU by Dave Hikel and other guest speakers.

7:45 to ??? - Q and A

Hello Dave,

I don’t think that I will be able to attend the WTIU presentation next Wednesday night.  My guess is many other TCA members and DCS users will be unable to attend, too.

Will anyone, for example, one of the YouTube O gauge influencers, a dealer like Trainworld, or a TCA representative, be video recording the event?  Like everyone else, I have many questions about the WTIU.  It would be a huge help if a video were recorded for a later YouTube or Facebook feed.

Also, even for attendees, a video recording would be helpful for future reference.
