I think we should start again. A heartfelt welcome to the Forum to you both, Ryan and David. Thank you for the fun and informative video. We wish you every success!

Welcome to the forum guys. For every response, there will be hundreds who will view and never comment. I would have stopped buying long ago, if it weren't for the enthusiasm other hobbyists generate here. You will even find some claiming they've had it with trains who jump back in when some good deal presents itself. Just start off with a thick skin and give yourselves twenty or thirty years before you become cynical, and you'll do just fine around this place.
Always happy to see new people come onto the forum, especially the train manufactures. I like knowing my opinions are getting a little attention.
Welcome!
Welcome. !!!! Post often Read and comment often

Welcome
Absolutely Welcome!
Looking forward to your posts here.
Thank you for the warm welcome guys! As you can tell, while Dave and I both take our jobs very seriously, we don't take ourselves that way. If you can't have fun building model trains for a living, you're in the wrong business! We've also both been in the hobby for quite a few years - so we know what comes with the territory. Don't worry, you'll be seeing plenty more from us in the future!
Ryan? David? Video?
Evidently, I missed something as I have no clue about any of this!

Alex go HERE to see the new video from David and Ryan who work at LIONEL in North Carolina. Looks like they might be the ones that replace Mike Reagan on the LIONEL videos.
Glad to see more people from the manufactures joining the forum. A warm welcome and high respect to you guys.
Got to meet David in Minneapolis. A real great guy who loves trains !!
Roger,
Thank you! Now I know . . .

And, now, I "get it", too!
Welcome, guys! You represent a great tradition and have an opportunity to help make it greater.
I guess I missed something here too. Welcome!! Oh, and what's David's forum name? Thanks!
Ryan, David, welcome to the forum. Glad to see you here. I have had the pleasure to speak with Ryan in the past at York. He is very knowledgeable and quite a train guy. I think Lionel will do well.
BTW - we got the new GG1 (4800 riveted), you guys were right the doppler effect is awesome. Maybe my favorite feature of the entire loco. And the volume is nice and loud as well.
Welcome!

On behalf of the "S scale" side of the tracks here....welcome!

first thread here;
How to get in contact with Ryan Kunkle? No email in his profile.
Do you think they can help us?
Can we email Ryan directly at Lionel with product suggestions?
I met these Young Men at the Lionel Booth at York....They seem to be very knowledgeable about the new products coming Our Way. The new Introduction of the Brass/Hybrid Sante Fe Mikado by Ryan and David was really Interesting and as you know causes Addiction!!! So yes, they Sold me....#3222 Black Version. Their answers to questions concerning our issues seemed warm and geniun. They will be a great asset to the Lionel Team and you will see a great effort to step up Lionel's Quality Control issues....Welcome, and Thank You....
I met Dave at York and his knowledge is a lot more than he shows on the Lionel videos. He showed me how to use my Bluetooth app and showed me how much fun it is.
Greetings Ryan & David at Lionel. Hope all is well on your end. Would like to hear more about upcoming goodies provided they are allowed to be discussed(we know we can't look into the secret roundhouse without the right engineer).
Met them both at York. Nice guys, great addition!
I would love it if Lionel did a 4-8-4 in the Western Maryland roadname.
This year was Dave's first venture into the Legacy Meeting. He did a great job answering questions and commenting on all things Lionel (where he could). It was a pleasure to have him at the meeting and we are looking forward to the Fall!
Dave looked a little shell shocked when he was up there, but I assured him he did fine. I hope that he becomes a regular fixture at the meetings, nice to have a Lionel presence.
One thing I was wondering, how do suggestions go from us to them(assuming they are amassed on the contact page and sent in or over), like most requests or graphed on chart that come to the meetings(something like that)? I'm sure it would be impossible for either of them to go through emails for those suggestions.
Welcome to the forum
Welcome!!!
Ryan's "hobby credentials" include writing articles for publication in THE LION ROARS, the magazine of the Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA), which means:
1) He knows train stuff.
2) He's eager to share it.
It doesn't get any better than that.

The thing I like about Ryan was his past job, that of working for the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. So he knows about the real thing as well as the models. I went out there last year, had a great time. Had been there when I was a little kid, maybe 6 or 7. Almost 40 years in between, I'll have to keep that number lower and make periodical visits.
