Atlas O was the first to make the GP35 diesels in O Scale
Then MTH produced their version of the GP35 diesel.
Finally Lionel has just offered the GP35 diesels with Legacy command and sounds.
Were there GP35 road number duplicates of the Atlas O GP35 road numbers by Lionel and MTH?
Do you expect any duplications in the GP35 road numbers in future road names because they were using the same source material.

A quick check of the Atlas O website this morning. (I could be wrong with some of this information)
GP 35 model was a new offering March 12, 2003. Last offered Sept. 4, 2009 There has been (11) different offerings. Most offerings are for multiple road names and numbers.
SD 35 model was a new offering Feb 2, 2001. Last offered April 10, 2009. There has been (5) different offerings. Most offerings are for multiple road names and numbers.
Information is available on their website, with some research you can determine all the different road number models that were produced.
With out doing the research, I would guess in (15) different offerings there would be at least 100 different locomotives.
All of them list the road numbers they've offered. Just pull the catalogs, product locators, etc.... and cross reference them. Should be pretty easy to figure out if they duplicated them.
I know of least one duplicate: GN 3033 was done by Atlas and again by MTH.
