What cars came with the number 8 or 8E electric?

Any of the 500-series of freights and 332, 337, 338, 339, 341 passenger cars.

Yes the 8/8E came in sets with the cars you listed... and Ron M fleshed out the list nicely.  Yes, the 8/8E was the economical workhorse of the modernized line starting in 1925.
