What is a minimal set, minimum cost of components to run Lionel Fastrack command switches? I am running DCS and Lionchief plus locos, I don't see Legacy locos in my future. I have decided that on my next layout I want to control my switches remotely without wiring. If I can find an old TMCC set would that do - a remote and a command base?

Any TMCC or Legacy system will run the Fastrack command switches. I run them with the original CAB1/BASE1 on the bench for testing and with the Legacy system for the layout.

You are going to love the FasTrack Command Control switches, I run mine off track power, and they work great, you can run as many as 99 wireless FTCC switches from either remote control units. I run mine with my Legacy Remote Control, the original TMCC is the lowest cost way to go however. Remember also if you can pick up some original non remote control FT Swithes, you can now add the ERR to them, and they will be able to be controlled by your TMCC Remote Control, off track power also. Unfortunately I sold all mine before the ERR controls were developed and put on the market or I would have converted them with ERR myself. Have fun with your new wireless Command Control set up!
