Pocahontas?
Well, maybe it will finally show up. Still projected February delivery?
Either this Lionel TP&W bicentennial GP30 or a Williams by Bachmann 44-ton switcher. Those are my only pre-orders.

Patiently waiting for the Broadway Limited M1A/B in N scale, or a Kato FEF greyhound.
I pre-ordered an MTH Imperial 0-6-0 switcher from Mercer Junction. I'm in no rush for it, and don't plan buying any more trains for a while. I will be buying layout building materials instead.
if I wait for that I'll not be buying anything. between my 21 turn, and practically no local shows when I am off.
Just my preorders this year. No unplanned purchases
Waiting for the MTH Imperial L1 Mikado 30-1642-1 that was due in June of 2014 and then pushed back to December of 2014.
Talked to the hobby shop I preordered this locomotive from the other day, and they had no idea when this engine might be shipping from MTH.
Likely the Lionel ES44AC in Iowa Interstate's paint. I'd also like to add MTH's SD50 in C&NW colors and a GP30 in BN colors. Then the focus shifts back to cars and structures.
I preordered the MTH Santa Fe 44 ton Center Cab Switcher and will order the Lionel self propelled Gantry Crane.
I would have to say the MTH Premier Reading T-1, if still available when I get home from overseas.
If not, then I will be looking for the MTH Premier WMRy H-9.
{Crossing my fingers for both... }
Waiting on my pre-ordered LIRR H10 Consolidation from MTH.
Like others, I've technically already made a 2015 purchase. Pre-ordered the Lion Chief Plus B&O NW2 diesel.
Will see what else is offered in the new catalog.
I have ordered a Lion Chief Plus Alaska Pacific. Hooping it will arrive today!

My first train purchase of 2015 will likely be a Legacy 990 Command set so that I can take the plunge and upgrade from conventional to Legacy, and MU my TMCC engines together!

My Vision Line Big Boy (#4014) should be picked up/purchased today
My Legacy Southern Pacific F7 A-A set should be delivered tomorrow.
Tomorrow i should be running/testing both on the (Christmas) layout a friend and I built at the Historic Redford Theatre in Detroit. Glad we have not taken it down yet.
No locos or rolling stock planned but I am going to install TMCC in a few Williams units (not WBB) in addition to buying layout building materials and structures.
Possibly the new WBB 44-tonner. I'll wait on the reviews before I decide. I'll consider the MTH model, but I'm not big into DCS.

Just bought it! A 1934 Std Gauge Lionel 318E, C-9 in OB with all paperwork. Should be here next week. Waiting for the tracking number now.
God Bless,

Well I surprised myself - despite what I said last night, my first train purchase of the year did not involve a locomotive. Today I took a drive over to a shop in Arkansas and walked out with a set of 5 Atlas O Gunderson Twin Stacks for the Santa Fe and enough containers to fill them. Should look pretty good behind my Atlas O Maersk and Warbonnet-painted GP60s.
Waiting for the MTH Imperial L1 Mikado 30-1642-1 that was due in June of 2014 and then pushed back to December of 2014.
Talked to the hobby shop I preordered this locomotive from the other day, and they had no idea when this engine might be shipping from MTH.
I talked to MTH a week before Christmas and they apparently had no idea either at the time. They said they were still thought they might get in for December - clearly that did not happen. This was my last pre-order - I'm tired of getting jacked up 6 months to a year out of the delivery window. I'll wait until they show up on shelves, and if they don't I'll just buy something else. I have lots of hobbies
So like you, my first purchase of 2015 kind of depends on MTH's delivery schedule...
Atlas GP60M's are OUTSTANDING engines. I purchased four 3 powered and 1 dummy about 4-5 weeks ago. Another guy in our club purchased four of his own about a week later. The GP60M's are very well represented on our layout.

No wonder they call him Happy!
Bruce
MTH Leland Detroit Monorail when it comes in. Is that a train?
Jeff Davis
I'd honestly have to say none. They newest items are beyond my means & I don't like all the new electronics anyway. I prefer US production too so I'm sort of stuck in a time warp if you will so the catalogs today that everyone drools over are fun to look at but there's just no way.
The Lionel M-1a, hopefully it will show up in 2015.
Jack
After waiting to see if the price would be lowered over the past week, I finally made my move today on a mint K-Line Reading Company F7 Powered A/Powered B unit set that was broken up from a Boscov's Dept. Store-exclusive freight set that K-Line had made when the price was lowered today. Will upgrade to TMCC later this year. These two F7 units should be arriving by the end of the month and mark the first of what should be many purchases this year!
