pretty sure it is off my milwaukee S-3 or tender as it was there after i packed up the loco to send to lionel. probably dislodged it with all the handling trying to figure out what was wrong. appreciate help in determining where it goes. thanks

It looks like a hand operated water pump or oil pump.

Hi,

According to the Lionel parts diagram, it's the throttle lever. (Part 152 on the parts diagram.) There should be a space in the cab where it has become detached from.

This might help you to determine where it goes.
