These SOO LINE markings can be put on the 14 3/4" flat car.

Army caboose!
Flatcars with several WW2 era US tanks
Modern tank cars. I'd love to build a nice long tank car unit train with 30-40 of these at a decent price. Buying them at $70-80/ea makes it somewhat cost prohibitive!

2-bay coal hoppers like the K-Line units design wise including the trucks.
"Army" is too modern for my period. I'd like to see a side door or combine caboose, or a CB&Q style coach caboose, to put Menard's in the passenger business.... won't happen. They are just doing contemporary rolling stock

K-Line style Vat cars
Also, an Erie boxcar!
David1,
Love to see Menard's make the original 2 tone (WAG) Woodside Box Car for my Wellsville, Addison & Galeton Logging Train, a WAG mini Work Caboose would be nice to go along with it.
Would love Menards to consider a Medal of Honor Box Car Set featuring SGT Audie Murphy, SGT York, Col Pappy Bowington and other WWI and WWII CMA recipients with a picture of their different CMA medals on one side of Box Car, and a real combat picture of each man on the opposite side of the Box Car.

Menard's can start with this Battle Field picture of young SGT Audie Murphy, taken by an unknown Frenchmen some place on a battle field in France. He was the 1st to use the words, leave no soldier behind, you see him protecting his fellow fallen soldier with his very life, in the actual WWII Battlefield picture.
SGT Audie Murphy is the most decorated US military man in US History, and one of the bravest men who ever lived. Love to see this tribute on a Menard's Box Car Set.
My WAG Logging RR Train.

I agree with GunRunnerJohn on a modern tank car. Or 50's - 60's era tank cars GATX - UTLX, etc. Single through triple dome. Various colors also, for those that just don't want all black. Agree with Wild Mary also, that's a good looking car! The same style two bay hopper car, in different road names. I also like the Sherman's on a flat car. Menards has been doing a good job on the military releases, I like the jeeps and the half track a lot. They are very affordable!

Lots of good ideas.....a number I'd buy if made....but a realistic request for Menard's, one I've made a few times, a 40ft Reefer. Same chassis and trucks as their box car....just a new mold for the body. Hundreds of variations possible. Like.....these...
I like the woodside better....

Anything from WWII. German military tanks and vehicles would be cool. American WWII tanks and vehicles also would be nice too. BigRail

They would have to produce the Thrall Car 60' or 63' Centerbeam Lumber Car, so it would negotiate tighter curves than the newest ones that are over 70' long.
MILWAUKEE ROAD as made in HO scale for ExactRail.

This Milwaukee Road gondola is similar to the Soo Line gondolas built by Thrall Car and has not been produced for O gauge and O scale.

Is it true if Menards uses your idea you get ten of the cars free? That's the word going around here! Of course I'm the only train guy here so maybe I started it. Don
