Hello.
What type of labels do you use to label your button, controllers, etc, on the control board?
Thanks

PTouch labels are the best You can get a number of different width tapes and a million fonts and sizes
The Ptouch will also do images. Use it to create RR logos for signage. I have the PT-2430 PC which will make labels up to 1".
Dymo!
Strong recommendation for the Brothers P-Touch PTD210 desktop label maker.
Flexible, reliable, portable, real professional looking results.
Once you have one you will realize other applications beyond your layout.
I'll second the P-Touch !!! I use clear tape that produces white lettering. Shows up really well on my red control panels. Looks like white silk screen lettering and the tape doesn't lift but is removable without a trace.
I used Dymo tape as my control panels were made in 1977 before we all had computers. I had a Dymo tape machine and find it easy to add or change labels so have stuck with it. I also use colored Dymo tape and a hole punch to make colored discs to distinguish push button switches.
I also use 1/8 inch automotive pin striping for my track diagram on my active touch control panels. All the track switches and uncoupling push button switches and the track block slide switches are on the diagram control panel.
