If you are like me you are always working on some project and the project always requires parts. Sometimes I've been lucky enough to find the needed item from forum members junk boxes. I thought it might be interesting to start a post with pictures of items from our junk boxes to see if anyone one else could use some of it. My first picture is below

That plus a bunch of street lights, assorted wheels, trucks, boiler fronts for god know what, a few frames, flatcars without wheels, a few locomotive shells, and probable more aquired over the years for that ever elusive someday.

Junk apart from the day after you throw it away then it's treasure
Don't have "junk" box.
Have a 'treasures-in-waiting' box...with a lot of dust, dead bugs, occasional part (think spring) that flew off the workbench on its own and happened to land in the box...like a game-saving BBall half-court desperation heave at the buzzer but without any celebratory fanfare...or awareness on my part!...until too many moons later!
And, yes, I do believe I've found a use for one of those..."treasures"...in my lifetime.
