Ok, guys!

I've ordered 36" wheels to replace the engine truck wheels on two of my Hudsons.

Which wheel puller / assembler should I get?  I see NWSL has many different pullers, and I'm looking for something that can hopefully do diesel, freight car & passenger car wheels, as well as steam engine drivers.

Thanks!

It seems many on the Forum treat wheel replacement very much like preparing for the Normandy Invasion...it ain't necessarily so.

I have used a punch and a hammer to remove Lionel wheels and a 4" C- clamp with pads to press them back on with GREAT success. And NO the wheels don't "wobble"...

Just take your time and after you do it once you'll tell yourself: "wow! that was easy"...

It’s been discussed a lot on here, and you can use the search feature to find many topics on this subject. There are a great variety of pullers on the market, some from the elaborate, to the simplest.....

for 30 years now, I’ve used this guy I made from a cheap battery terminal puller I got from one of the auto parts stores......ground down the grips to fit under a wheel, and spun a hole in the threaded rod....I use dead drill bits for push pins.... never let me down......I think I got 6 bucks total in it.........PatC184FC2A-BB7A-4148-B249-B4073460757A
