Watched early this morning. Always one of my favorite trains. The observation car is amazing. Hope that black smudge comes off. Any idea what it is? Grease? Pesky Alien Goo from a "incident"?

Very nice. Be careful cleaning off the black stuff. If you have gotten cold dust mixed into it you may scratch the paint without TLC.

Oh yeah, the Milwaukee Road. I have a book on real trains which have some of the dismantled streamlined Milwaukee Road Atlantic's as well as I think one of the Hudson's in the background. I don't believe the photo credits a year on when the "scrapyard" photo was taken, but that intrigued me immensely. Those streamlined Atlantic's and Hudson's I always loved. I'd like to see Lionel do one, but that I guess is yet to come.
