Welcome to Whistle Stop Wednesday Videos. This week's featured engine is the new Lionel 0-6-0t engine in Alaska RR colors. it is running with my Cab2 and has all kinds of nice sounds like chuff, whistle, bel sounding, along with crew talk and banter. For the price of this engine you can't go wrong. Hope you enjoyed this video. Thanks for your support.

Nice little engine. We need more lower cost steamers. I assume it was LC+2.0? I was trying to watch and listen on the pup walk early this morning so I might have missed it.
Thanks MARTYE!!!! Yes it is a LC+2.0….had it programmed into my Cab2 run perfectly….yes more of these cheaper and great fun to play with engines…. Thanks again.
I need to get off my butt and get a video made this weekend. The last 2 weeks were full on family and a bad cold.
Back to the engine though, it seems to do well pulling. And 4 CPR is a bonus! Lots of smoke too!
Thank you for the show Laz. Those are fun little engines.
Laz you got a steal of a deal. Nice engine!!!!

Not so much, actually. This has been discussed quite a bit on the Forum. It's a problem because with the small wheels on these engines, 4 cpr sounds like a machine gun, and is very irritating. I think GRJ did a piece on how to convert it to 2 cpr, which makes a significant improvement.

Geez when Lionel did 2 chuffs per revolution, everybody was mad now that they do 4 chuffs per per revolution everybody’s mad. They just can’t win.
Personally I like the 4 chuffs. I guess it’s a preference.
Thanks GUYZ for the CONGAS a on this little engine.
BREEZINUP, nope it sounds great to my ears…also an improvement over the first small 0-6-0t, no more door buzzer like on the first engines….I think Lionel did a great job on this engine.
