So, I was putting new wires onto my 2046w tender. Old cotton covering was starting to disintegrate and that's no bueno.
Trouble is, as I was merrily soldering the new jumpers on, a renegade bead dropped off the tip of my awesome soldering iron and burnt right through the bakelite/plastic/polymer body of the old air whistle. She don't toot too good anymore so is there a way I can slap some railsounds or something into the tender?
Thanks in advance.
