NCOG - North Central 'O' Gaugers Model Railroad Club, Inc. is hosting a Special Train Run at the Deerfield Public Library featuring Winter Holiday, from 9 AM to 3:30 PM.  This is our traveling layout, and admission is free.

Bmurphy, Thanks for adding to the event in Deerfield!!! What a great weekend in the Chicago area for o gaugers!! No matter if you live north, south, east or west you're just a quick trip to fun events today.

  Tell everyone I say HELLO!!  from Oklahoma!  I am one of the original founding members of the NCOG Club back in 2000.  When I left the Lake County area in 2003, we had the modular set up in the Mundelien Library for the public to enjoy.  Plus, all the different shows we did at shopping centers, schools, Larry Cerwin's house for birthday party, etc.  As many may attest to, the looks of the children and their faces is what always brought the most enjoyment.  Hope you have a great showing and I know the fun and thrill of running the trains is worth all the efforts of transporting and setting up it involves.

I went to the first NCOG meeting and faded away.  I stopped by a couple times in Mundelein.  I have been meaning to stop by again and maybe get involved.  Just was never a joiner.  It could be fun.  I'll stop by the January run.  Ok, you've been warned.
