Will PS2 boards power 2 8ohms sp | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I'm pulling an older TMCC board system out of my Sunset Allegheny. I expected 2 speakers. There's just one. It got me thinking if a PS2 board would power 2 (Fatboy or peerless) 8 ohm speakers wired in parallel?? That should yeild 4 ohms and in theory it should work right? Has anyone tried it?

Yes,in parallel to get 4 ohms impedance,in series to get 16 ohms impedance. However I think TMCC stuff need 8 ohms impedance. In that case use a single 8 ohm or 2, 4 ohm ones in series (+ to -)
