i'am looking for any info on williams brass sharknose diesels,i just got an AB set of black lightning stripe NYC unit's.2 can motors MTH e-unit..anybody know about when they were made...maybe someone has an origional inst.sheet i could copy?thanks for any help...joe

The Williams BRASS Sharks were made in 1984. they had incorrect plastic F unit truck side frames and the F unit Fuel tank.

The e units were blue Williams and the triacs on those e-units are suceptable to meltdown.

I still have my sharks but repainted to the 5 stripe paint scheme. I also replace the original chassis with a williams FA/ Plastic shark chassis that had the more correct AAR trucks and fuel tank.

HEre is the custom set compared to the Lionel CCII Club sharks offereed in the mid 2000....

I have since added LEd lighting and the MRC Ac sounder alco sound system to those custom sharks. Great for conventional runners!
