Anyone out there know of a source for Williams parts.  I need a full set of the side truck frames for the Williams FM.  The part numbers from the Bachmann site show it as:

335-05-01E Geared Side

335-05-02E Non geared side

I need two of each of these.  I tried the Lionel frames and they are close on one end, but on the other end of the frame the screw hole does not reach the truck screw and the lead driving wheel rubs the frame.   Bachmann listed the part number, but does not have them.   I have tried the Harrisburg train shop (Charlie Phillips old store) and they are going to try and locate stuff this summer.  I know the man in Maryland was not at York due to health issues but I wrote him a letter anyway.  Western Depot and a couple of places on the west coast did not have them.

Any one have some or know of a source?

I sent an email to Allie.  I think we actually live within a couple of miles of each other.

I will let everyone who needs some frames, know if I hear back from Frank.  I will forward the information of what I find out and his address to each of you via your email in your profile.   My email is in my profile if you want to check in from time to time.  Unfortunately I did not get the contact info for Frank's friend at York.  Lord willing I will get it when I go in Oct.  From what I was told at York it may be a while before Frank resumes his train activities.   He has been my best source in the past.  I will also let you know if I hear from Mrs. Phillips.  She said it would be June or July before they started going thru and trying to organize Charlie's stuff.   All the other outlets I have tried did not have any frames or would not respond.

Did you see this post by @Buco?  Perhaps if we could get the 3D design files, they could be put in the 3D repository and then you could get them 3D printer.

I did and thanks for the connection.  I figured we might parallel path this thing before I try to epoxy the destroyed rail...

3D printing would be sweet.  between this thread and the one Buco posted in, it appears there is some serious market demand.
