In addition, a Saturday ticket is also good for Sunday admission.

My son and I went for a little bit this afternoon. It definitely seems like there are fewer vendors/tables than in the past. There is a lot of empty space between the layouts in at the back of main room and the vendor tables. That said, it's always good to see the regulars.
My son picked up this plow:
We saw this Lionel RS-3:
The seller said that Lionel produced it. It's their RS-3 with two truck-located can motors with plastic gears. Did Lionel really make an entry-level Rutland RS-3? I've never seen one before.

Seemed like the horrible weather didn't keep many people away but, as you observed, there were a lot less vendors this year. The November show before Christmas seems to attract more vendors.
Speaking with a few vendors, their feeling was that more people are coming to see the layouts and not buying anything, and that the manufacturers are pricing people out of the hobby.
I bought a few items that I'll post in the "Buy anything cool, lately" topic.
