Wireing for30-11006 RR crossing and 45-1028 ITAD

I am trying to wire a 30-11006 railking RR crossing using a 45-1028 ITAD.

The instructions on the RR crossing are as follows:

Common from transformer to black wire on RR crossing.

Red wire from RR crossing to NO of the ITAD.

Power from transformer to common terminal on ITAD.

This does not work. The RR crossing does work when connected directly to the transformer.

Are you applying power to the ITAD itself? Per ITAD instructions:

Flip open the cover on the back of the ITAD and connect AC power and ground outputs from an auxiliary power source (not from the track) to the "AUX" power inputs.
