Does anyone have a diagram to wire a MTH coaling tower to my AIU? Where can I by the connector so don't need to cut the wire?

The key take-away from this OGR thread is the "manual" controller box is not just buttons/switches that you can wire to the AIU to convert to DCS remote control. There is the matter of 2 diodes. The diodes are 10-cent components...but following the instructions could be a challenge.
Thanks Stan.
That is so much more that I bargained for. I think I will try to find the connectors to extend the cable to where it is handy to use and call it a day. Worst case it i can just cut and splice the wire.

Out of curiosity, what about the AIU connection method is not what you are/were after?
There is a lot of information presented in the diagrams...but if the objective is to replace the manual button-controller with the DCS Remote via AIU, I think it could be as "simple" as:
The diodes are required and while they are 5 cent components, after shipping and what not you could end up paying $1 or more per diode.
I can also imagine discipline is required with the AIU method so as not to "accidentally" turn ON both the motor up and motor down ACC ports at the same time. Obviously you want to use the DCS Remote's momentary "ACT" button to drive the motor in only one direction!

Hi Bob,
Did you ever find out what the connectors are for the coaling tower? I also need to lengthen the wires and would like to avoid cut and splice.
