I will be doing a layout that is 5'x13'ish. I will be running a R2R lionchief set. Do I/should I completly wire the track? I will be having 2 reverse loops and an incline.

I'd put power drops about every 3 feet, evenly spaced and you'll be fine, unless you want to run 2 trains at once.
I am new to this what is a power drop? is there a how to video that shows how to do this?
A power drop is a wired connection from track to transformer.
You might be ok with just one power drop for the entire layout, but more is always better. If your trains start slowing down at distant portions of the layout, thats where you need to add another power drop.
With the Lionchief there is no transformer, just a remote and a power plug that plugs directly into the track.
Well, the "power plug" is the transformer. You can also run the LionChief on any standard transformer as well.
Is there any video out there as to how to do this? i have never done any wiring before.
Here is alink to the Lionel wesite explaining wiring. Hopefully it will help. http://lionelllc.wordpress.com.../wiring-your-layout/
