Help -
I was rewiring the bubbler light bulb to my Post War Oil Derrick #455 when the little disk between the bulb base and the spring broke apart. I want to replace this part, any suggestions?
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance - Tony

You can probably find one online,
Or you can make one quite easily. Any non-conductive disc with a hole in it that you can fabricate with a blob of solder on the end of The Wire sticking through the hole. The Blob of solder will act as a contact for the light bulb. The spring of course goes underneath the disk.
The part you need is a 61-22. Jeff Kane, The Train Tender, will have them and he ships fast and cheep.

Train Nut,
Spent a good amount of time trying to find one on-line, no luck, even considered getting it with the spring and a wire attached....
Just cut some card stock. Per my calipers, just shy of the same thickness. Unfortunately not a strong enough material. Any suggestions for what to use?
Thanks - T
Did you read David Johnson's reply? Jeff has them.
Yup, saw it after my reply to Train Nut.
Will be checking it out.
Thanks again all.

I think i used a piece of an old credit card. LOL. Styrene would work. Any thing like that. Just don't apply too much heat.
