I love work trains. Here's one I created with a K-Line switcher and cars from MTH, Lionel & Atlas. Let's see pics and videos of the work trains/MOW consists you're running.

Here's an old one I shot while working on the club layout about a year ago.
Here's my full-length full-scale Pennsylvania / Penn Central wreck train. This is actually a shortened version of a heavy duty wreck train that I studied, the real one had several more coaches, gondolas, and truck carrier cars. It's still long enough that I can't fit it in one shot:
The gondola with track panels and the caboose are back behind the crane.
The second train is this video is a work train...for fun, it is led by a LionMaster Cab-Forward...
Here's my other work trains.
On the front track are the three cars that make up my track cleaning work train. In back are some K-Line O-27 work train cars in MOW gray and I added a Lionel SF Burro crane(logo removed) to complete the look.
GOOD THREAD!
I like work trains. i was in Newton KS in the summer of 1974, and was waiting for the SW Ltd after getting off the Lone Star. Sitting next to the depot was the Newton Derrick in the under rated zebra ATSF paint. Boy, that does that get you hooked (literally!)
