Hi all,
In the O Scale Resource magazine,Nov-December Issue,on page 11,All Aboard Trains features 2 types of groundthrow switchstands. The ad,says 1 model is a working light manual 'stand, while another is moderized. The tooling is all new.
I'm wondering on the manual model if the groundthrow throw arm actually turns moving a gear inside the housing which in turn moves the switch points as well as the switch target on top of the housing,or if the targets are all that move via interaction with the throw bar on the switch or an under layout switch machine. There's a penny beside the model,so I can't think the ground throw has a working throw arm like the Prototype ,but thought it was worth asking for more information.
i Googled All aboard Trains, but found nothing that would help me.
Thanks to all in advance for your kind responses.
As Always,
Al Hummel
