My Lionel MKT Legacy SD40-2 (6-34791) is doing crazy things! It will be running down the track normally, then suddenly the smoke will begin to billow out of the stack tremendously, like the resistor is getting way too much power. Then it will take off like a rocket at full speed. I've also seen the front LED headlight "flickering" when it is misbehaving. Not a slow flash, but really rapid flickering. I might have thought there was a problem with the speed control, but that wouldn't account for the smoke and flickering issue.
Any advice would be appreciated.
