I set up the new WTIU —- all of the lights were on correctly . On the MTH app when I tried to add my 1st MTH engine , the app screen says no TIU found . I am on the MTH setting on the WTIU . So , do you have to have the older TIU attached to the new WTIU for the WTIU to work ? I thought the WTIU unit was a “ standalone “ unit. I do have the old MTH TIU , so I could attach it . So I am a bit confused !

@SteamPossum Did you connect your phone/tablet to the MTH network? In other words, you need to disconnect from your home WiFi and connect to the MTH WiFi network.
I thought I did , but I need to recheck that . My IPad , where the MTH app is located said that it recognized the MTH app . I am not positive I am disconnected from my WiFi. I did find out you do not need the old MTH TIU to have the new WTIU work. Thanks. =====
WTIU now works. === Thank you LOVETJ. You steered me in the right direction. The WTIU dcs MTH app works now perfectly. I had to disconnect from my network. Later I will try and post how I did this .
So the quick fix to “ no TIU Found “ for me was —- do not use your IPad , === use your I phone or android phone with the new MTH DCS app . Your phone will not use your house wireless internet , but will use the MTH network for the app . With my phone I did not get the no TIU found pop up notice when trying to add an MTH engine. I added an MTH engine easily and it ran with smoke and sounds etc. I did also get my IPad to work with the app, but I had to disconnect from my own wireless network. I think I will just use my phone!
