Jim, The layout still looks great as do the trains running! It is hard to believe it has been over 5 months since the last post!
SantaFeJim - As Mark says you've got a fabulous layout and I try and watch all of your videos (whenever I see them posted) but there's something I've always found strange. Although your layout appears to be very proto-typical I don't recall ever hearing you blow the horns of your beautiful diesels, even at grade crossings like two of the videos posted today; and am wondering if there's a logical reason as to why you don't? Just curious Jim - that's all. (submitted by an extremely envious model railroader)

Good catch. The reason I am not blowing the horns or ringing the bells is I am busy taking the videos. I film them with my iPad which requires two hands. I will be posting videos tomorrow showing four trains running simultaneously. Again I will be doing the filming.
Tune in tomorrow to see “Busy Day on the Santa Fe.”
I am a looper also, on all three of my layouts (two Standard Gauge, one in-progress O Gauge). I do have one switch on each one, but they are not wired to work, merely there as cool props to create a spur to showcase more goodies.
My Main Floor Standard Gauge Layout has two loops, the Upstairs Standard Gauge Layout has three loops, and the Upstairs O Gauge Layout has four loops and a small circle.
Here are the four-train heavy traffic videos. Location is the bridge over Spooner lake on the north side of Wenonah Camp grounds.
SantafeJim: Awesome videos. I counted 26 reefers in one train and another 4 or 5 in a shorter train! Lots of traffic. Wondering what radius track you have on your layout. The passenger train is terrific and the cars track well. Are they scale?

pennseynut -
I am pleased that you enjoyed the videos.
My curved track radius is 38" - 42" on the main lines. All turnouts are #8 and YES, all the engines and rolling stock are scale. HO SCALE.
Thanks Jim. I figured your layout was HO from seeing your previous posts. I was pondering o scale P70 coaches (20 inches) but the overhang even on my 18 inch cars on o72 curves is all I can do. Your track work is great and the generous radii shows off the trains, especially those passenger cars, well.
These pics show some of the four loops on my new Prewar and early American Flyer Upstairs O Gauge Layout I'm creating.
The ceramic buildings are primarily Dept 56 Seasons Bay.
The American Flyer area has Marx, Hornby and AF tinplate pieces.

Yawn…Yawn. It has been 20 months since I last posted here. All is well and I will be posting more videos and pics in the coming weeks. Stay safe everybody.
Twenty months!! I never would have guessed it was that long. I’ll be looking forward to your new posts, Jim.
Wow! Great videos and a very realistic layout! The trains sure do seem to run excellent on it! Thanks for sharing.
My latest motive power addition is an A-B-A set of ALCO PA's. Product of Rapido Canada. Smoothest running engines I have ever owned. Sound package - is absolutely awesome. I hope to post s movie or two later this week.

It has been a long while since I posted any videos. Hope this works.
Best viewed using the double arrow "FULL SCREEN" option in the lower-right corner. You may want to jack the sound up a bit to get the true Doppler Effect.

Thanks for the nice comments. I fixed my Youtube channel this morning so I hope to add more videos next week. Got a boatload of "Honey Do's" this weekend.
