If you can't be there Thursday and Friday as you stated then the answer is Yes.
If you are there Thursday and Friday, the answer is probably not.
Well for those of us who can't go Thurs, & Fri I sure hope so. The last 2 years it was very disappointing to find that the venders were packing up by noon the 1st year and by 11 last year. I e-mailed the powers that be on this and I got no response. I hope they are seeing these posts and do something about it this year....We all pay the same amount to be there, and it's only fair...
This year I can only go on Saturday due to family issues. Luckily I will be close enough to drive up for the day. And if I find I have some extra time on the way back to my daughters place I may make a quick trip over to Gettysburg. the view from Little Round Top should be beautiful at this time of year.n

They are doing something, just like they did last year - they make the silly announcement that you must leave trains on your table, so some folks get around this by packing up 90% of their stuff by noon...while leaving a few trains on the table....they are following the rule... yet I will be continually harassed entering buildings for the wind blowing my badge holder backwards and it not being visible
....but I still love it, and will pay my dues, and continue to attend, because it's GREAT.
Saturday at York is better than no day at York.

Yes, Gettysburg National Military Park is closed. The message you see is what comes up on their site.
Rats! I forgot about that when I wrote my post. Maybe our elected representatives will get their act together by next week and the Federal Government will be open for business by then. I hope so!
My friend talked to someone at Gettysburg and his impression is that it is open. he reason it's open is that the park is privately run. If someone is planning on going it might be worth checking again perhaps with the Gettysburg Chamber of Commerce.
