MTH used to offer a special York car for many years but don't think they have for the last few years. When MTH did it it was more than 50 so it was a little easier to get one I believe.
Pretty sure there was nothing to correct.... He asked if Lionel made a car, and I explained how it transpired for the Lionel car in April. I even mentioned it was the first time Lionel offered such a York themed car. (at the very least in recent history - perhaps there was a car many years ago I may be unaware of)
I did not give any details in my earlier post, but MTH has in fact still offered a York car for each meet up to this point (including in April, same as they have for many years now).
So there is your correction. MTH does in fact still do a York car ! (unless they suddenly decide to not do one next month)
Yes, it is quite safe to assume MTH has never made as few as 50 of any York car offered (even if actual numbers are not public knowledge)

Yes there is an MTH car as MTH just sent out an email yesterday announcing their 2017 Fall York Car. Here's the link:

I already know this has been an almost overwhelming time for you. I will certainly miss meeting you in person! Money is leaking all over the place! That's a new way of putting it, but I can certainly concur it has happened to us before!
Thanks Mark. I'm sure you'll love the York Meet and be counting the days until April's Meet. And I'll see you then!
Brian, we'll miss you and your better half but understand you're taking care of more important family matters on top of your move and new jobs. I hope things are going well and hope to see you in April.

You're really didn't play your cards right Brian. If you had just put in a little effort, you probably could have gotten Lynley to want to get rid of you bad enough to send you to York. Just to get you out of the way for a while.
BTW, good timing leaving Wentzville just as the Phillies get Rhys Hoskins. That's gotta hurt. Sorry for you. The Phillies -- perhaps a moment of joy, but certainly a lifetime of pain.

You're probably right Gerry. But the problem is she never wants to send me away because I'm too darn irresistible. Sometimes I wish I was born rich instead of so darn good looking! But seriously, as much as I love the York Meet there's just too much to do after moving and my father's funeral to have any time and energy to get there.
As for the Fightin's, I'll still get to see them on trips to San Diego and LA. And I'll watch them and the Flyers, Eagles and Sixers on subscription tv and when they come to the area.
Ill miss all you guys for this Meet, but I'll pick up a train item or two from my train shop connections to feel like I was there and I'll look forward to April's Meet.

Thank you, Greg.
Is the itinerary posted somewhere for York? I took a look on the TCA site but it is probably staring right at me and I can't see it.

I try not to use my card unless there is no other alternative. Of course I don't think anyone will be willing to have anyone who can't pay work on the rails until they pay it off that way, lol.
One of the main things I will bring is a very open mind. I almost exclusively by Lionel, and that is just my preference, but that doesn't mean I won't buy from other manufacturers. Also, my modeling skills are not in practice(way below novice), so I may see about learning some stuff if they have time to teach.
N&W caboose is on my list as well, see what steam choices there are.
I discovered a new trick when I was faced with a smokin deal and not enough cash - PayPal. On the smartphone, just do the transfer to the sellers account, and done. Seller can confirm the transaction on his or her cell as well.
And a lot of the more modern dealers have those neat credit card readers too, so not quite so critical - for the dealer halls.
