you know folks the Prospector is a beautiful train. When i made the lakeshore i got so many e-mails saying i would have bought it if there were electronics. SO NOW i make the prospector both ways and people start complaining the conventional version should be cheaper. IF you look at a lionel corp catalog if you order with or without THE PRICE IS THE SAME. THE LCCA IS NOT TRYING RIP ANYBODY OFF. The conventional versions are NOT inexpensive to make with the die cast whisle housings and the build a loco motors. Anything you guys want to know about just call me cell 484 431 8529
