I've been going to Thursday at Fridays for a long time now and thoroughly enjoy it. But I do not have a Cat in the Hat hat to wear. I am a bit jealous of Scott &  Mike because hats tend to distinguish you. Maybe not in this particular case (or when you're wearing a Phillies baseball cap), but in most cases. Once I even discussed getting some type of hat with Erol so we could also make a hat statement. Alas, he wanted Super Lawyer and Lawyer for the 2 caps. And guess which one he thought was going to be his. And no consideration given to Mr. Rawlings.

What I've realized now is that I've been wearing the same shirt to Thursday at Fridays for a few years. The picture below is from Spring, 2011. AND I REALLY LIKE THE SHIRT. I think it is very cool to have all those train logos on a shirt. And since it can be very hot at York, I think I need a new short sleeve shirt. I'm thinking in blue. So, do you think I should get a new one (your vote doesn't actually count -- I'm going to get one)?

I know a number of you have these shirts because you've bought them from Dotty. Let's wear them to York and show Scott & Mike that we're grown-ups. None of those silly hats.

Gerry, many of the Fridays crew has the shirts.  Dotty will have many with her.  She spends hours finding fabric that train guys will like.  As you know it is very hard to find clothing made in America.  Her shirts are made from fabric made in America.  The shirts are also made in America (my home) by an American.

When we were up at Trainstock #5 at N.J. HiRailers, my wife saw the shirts and asked Dotty if she could make one that would fit me.  Sure, replied Dotty, and zip, zap, zoom a few weeks later a 3X arrived here.  All 3 of us; my wife, our Chihuahua (trust me, she has a vote here, at home & on the road) and I really like the shirt.

Now if only I could get to York this spring.  NUTS!

Joe, I have made many shirts for guys who have specific likes, wants, and needs. PRR Bill and Mike Reagan, to name two. It would be no problem to make the kind of shirt you desire, I would need to know what material design you'd like and take a few measurements to get the fit right. Are you going to York? I will bring my tape measure. If you aren't going to York, get hold of me and we can get the process started.

Here are pictures of the custom curtains I made for Trainpop's trainroom. They have a white cotton backing so the train fabric won't fade, (He hasn't seen them yet), and the valance I made out of Lionel fabric for Marty's living room windows.

Gerry, Of course I realized that. I have a few different blue fabrics available, so you'll have to pick one. There will be fabric samples for ordering shirts, along with finished shirts in adult sizes Medium to XXL at Vince's Trains booth in the Orange Hall. Also available: Thomas shirts in children's sizes Small to Large.      Dotty P

That would definitely be SO COOL

And I do love your hats. When we thought about wearing hats, we didn't consider Cat in the Hat hats out of respect. That's your thing.

Thank you Alex. I was scared someone was going to say two really funny looking guys. Good thing I didn't find a picture with LocoLawyer in it.
