I have a post going under legacy forum for an issue with these but thought this would gather more views here.
okay so this switch motor locked up tighter than a rusted nut!!
all attempts to power off and on so the red jam light goes off that works but the unjammed not so much.
so I figured have nothing to lose everything to gain so I took 4 screws out discovered only 2 screws need removed to get PCB board separated from the plastic housing! if you have one look at under side there are 2 screws within 1\4" of each other these hold the electric motor in place with gear leave them alone I got lucky!!
once plastic housing removed you will see an electric motor with 2 gears all I did was carefully rotated the motor gear assembly almost a 180 put it back in position it was in and engaged the small pin in slot for throw arm and then held in place while working wires into slotted area and pushed pcb into place and attached all with the 2 screws.
I powered it up at 15 volts waited for the red green to go to green and pushed the switch remote button and walla it pivots like a good fella now.
according to z-stuff voltage to be 14-16 volts I tried at 12 volts and for my trouble received the red led flash removed power and turned back on set voltage to 15 volts and again it worked flawlessly.
just thought I would share this as if some here run into a jammed 2500 switch issue try it hey all you have lost is your time.
remove 2 screws one at upper left other at lower right leave 2 screws on right alone they hold worm/motor to board.
